Ensure that Class of Service, Interconnect Restriction, and Intercept Handling is programmed for each console.
Allocate sufficient IP User and MiVoice Business Console Active Operator licenses. Active Operator licenses apply to MiVoice Business Consoles only and are consumed when the console is in Attendant Present mode. Each 5540 IP Console and IP Console application consumes an IP User license.
NOTE: As of MiVoice Business Release 7.2, if an IP User license is not available, a Multi-device User license is automatically consumed instead. See Multi-device User License Consumption for IP Users for more information.
To program IP consoles:

Complete the Device type, Directory number, Softkey Appearance, Interconnect Number, and MAC address fields.

Softkeys form
Assign directory numbers to the console softkeys.
Telephone
Directory form
Use the search field to locate the directory numbers that you assigned to the console softkeys. Assign names to the console softkey directory numbers.
Default
Account Codes form (optional)
Create a default account code number that will appear in all SMDR records for the station.
Station
Attributes form
Assign a Class of Service, Class of Restriction, and Intercept Number to the console's directory number.
(Optional) Assign a Default Account Code Index number.
NOTES
If the MiVoice Business system is part of a cluster, all IP Consoles must be assigned a Static IP Address.
If you delete consoles, you must also delete the corresponding directory entries and voice mailboxes.
